It feels like just a minute ago, that I said Roger Moore was getting old (sorry, pal). And what happens? A new Bond rises! Timothy Dalton. I was a little scared that it would become another George Lazenby affair (another sorry) but because of the actor or the city they shot in, I enjoyed the […]
I find it always fascinating when you find out something was a Bond Song. Duran Duran!? Really. Ha ha ^^ I mean I didn’t know the english title of the 14th Bond film, but hey…I knew the song. And you should have seen my surprised face.
The first half of the Spectre Challenge is done! Excuse me, but I have to take this moment and pat myself on the back. *patpat* It is not often that I actually finish what I start…and yes, I am only half way through, but sometimes that’s already an accomplishment. Baby steps, baby steps.
There seemes to be a time noone was really able to miss: the 80s. Shiny clothes, big hair and music that made you cringe. When the synthesizer Bond theme came on, my ears bled a little. Well, the whole film cannot lie being made in the 80s. Music, shots – at least we had no […]
After I spent the last couple of days in Stockholm, Sweden (unknown to you, because I was a good girl and pre-watched the films, wrote and scheduled the posts, so there would be one each day for you) I came back today. And to be perfectly honest…I did miss the daily Bond film. (I compensated […]
I always love that when you watch an action or spy film it kind of shows you a trend: The villain trend. Whenever the US or England had a dispute with another country, you could see that in films. There is always a phase…like when all the villains where played by Blacks, or Asians or […]
I am honest. After the last Bond, and the first with Roger Moore, I was a little scared. Would I dread watching them? Moore is just a little too perfect. Well, I take it back: I loved „The Man with the Golden Gun“! Christopher Lee. A Bondgirl with the wonderful name Goodnight. Asia. Oh…and let’s […]
Aaaand we reached the 70s. Oh boy, did we reach the 70s. I know it’s the second Bond but only now you can really feel it. Roger Moore’s debut was filled with heels and flared pants. Trends we seem to need back in 2015. „Live and Let Die“ is my second Roger Moore Bond (I […]
Bond is back! (Sorry, George.) That moment when the intro came on…black and white, the blood running over him and not eliminating him…oh, boy. Pure excitement. I wish I could kiss Sean Connery for doing that.
I don’t know if it was because I already heard bad things or because I assumed an actor playing a franchise lead character only once was indication enough, but I won’t become a fan of George Lazenby.
